Makers' Choice Exec - Katana Style

What happens when Elliot goes to Japan? Inspiration happens and this Makers' Choice Exec comes into the word.  This Exec is hand carved by Elliot to mimic a katana with stingray skin wrapped handle and hammered bronze bolsters. We reshaped the blade and added a faux hamon to tie the theme together. 

Starting with solid titanium handles, Elliot gets to work slowly removing titanium until a leather wrapped handle emerges. With trusty Dremels in hand and a plethora of carbide end mills, Elliot takes what's in that odd brain of his and imposes it on his favorite medium. The freshly carved pieces move over to Chris's bench where he takes raw titanium and gives it color and texture according to Elliot's vision (at least on this knife). By our powers combined, we're happy to offer this one of a kind piece of functional art.
